Day 1 : Realizations

It's 10:30 pm and I guess it's safe to say that I (barely) survived Day 1.

Today I realized a few things:
  1. It sucks being fat.
  2. I absolutely adore food and it feels like I just broke up with my longtime lover.
  3. Never imagined that I would one day be begging for a bite of pizza.
  4. This is quite embarrassing.
Earlier, my boyfriend kept saying: "Kung may tiyaga, may nilaga!"
To which I replied: "Ayoko ng nilaga, gusto ko ng Kare-Kare!"

Soon.
Gotta earn that bowl of Kare-Kare first.

  • Ensalada de Lucban with Pinoy Vinaigrette
Lunch
  • Seafood Vermicelli
  • Toasted Whole Wheat Bread
PM Snack
  • Coconut Carajitos
Dinner
  • Arena Chicken with Turmeric Rice
  • Green Mango and Papaya Salad with Tamarind Vinaigrette                

If you're wondering, everything on this menu amounts to 1,600Kcal, my required daily caloric intake.
Also, I just purchased a discount voucher for 10 boxing sessions + a 1 year membership at Elorde! Time to get back on track!

Au Revoir

Today I say good bye to pigging out and unhealthy food choices. I'm starting a month-long meal program with NUIU and I'm half excited, half scared shitless. I'm going to miss all the extra cups of rice, double deep fried chicken skin, tubs of ice cream and late night trips to food bazaars!
