For Days 9 and 10,we learned about bridal makeup!
Day 9 was my personal favorite! As you may already know, I am such a big fan of the natural-beauty enhancing-glowing-from-within- super fresh look! I was feeling a bit down that day 'cause I wasn't able to bring in my own model plus I found out that I left my camera at home!
I had to "rent" an in-house model from the school so that also meant that I had to pay for her modeling services. But oh well, Tim Gunn taught me well... I had to MAKE IT WORK! I was lucky enough to have worked with Zubi, Maquillage Professionnel's official guinea pig! She works there as a full time model. All of our instructors do their demo work on her because she has the ideal face shape, bone structure, eye and lip shape... Basically she's the perfect canvas! So, lucky me! ;-)

My glowing "bride" |
On our 10th day, we did an Arabian inspired bridal look. Something a lot more dramatic and intense, with the use of really vibrant colors. The eyes were the focal point of the whole look, heavily lined with black kohl pencil. I loved creating this look on my former football teammate, April. I think the makeup suited her facial features perfectly. Very sultry and very Kim K!
