My Everyday Face

Hey lovelies! Here's a quick post on my day to day go-to look. I can literally slap this on in 5 minutes and walk out the door! Super quick and easy with a few of my favorite products too.

My Everyday Look + Products

The Balm Shelter Tinted Moisturizer in Medium - Super lightweight, I just use my hands to apply this!
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW25 - My holy grail concealer, hands down! I use this on my under eye circles + blemishes
MAC Blot Powder in Medium/Dark - a godsend for my super oily face! Sets everything in place and gets rid of shine
MAC Solar Riche Bronzer - for a bit of contouring and a sun-kissed glow!
MAC Dollymix Blusher - applied with a light hand, gives of a lovely flush on the cheeks! Also one of my favorite MAC blushes!
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow 24h in 01 - super natural looking and so easy to use! Just a little secret: it's gym-proof,too!;-)

Ouch!!!!

Hurt myself today :'(

...with a bit of makeup ;-) Actually just used a bit of my son's hair wax (sorry,Z!),powder foundation,eyeshadows,a bit of lip & cheek tint,Carmex and baby oil!

Really interested in prostethics and special effects makeup!

Hostess with the Mostess

Last Friday, I did my former high school classmate Kj Castillo's make up. She hosted FEU-NRMF's Med Night for this year. Kj had nice skin so I only applied a light layer of liquid foundation to even out her skin tone. I did a smoky eye on her as per her request and I went ahead and enhanced her other features with a bit of contouring and highlighting, soft brows, a lovely pair of falsies,coral cheeks and a nice pink lip care of MAC's Pink Nouveau.

Maquillage Professionnel Day 8: Colored Photography

Today was all about make up for colored photography. Ms. Yuki challenged us to play with vibrant colors and different textures. We were allowed to do an avante garde or "beauty" look. Basically, it was an "anything goes" kind of day. We just had to use colors that would register well on camera. I went ahead and did a beauty look on my super pretty high school kabarkada, Trishka. I wanted the focus to be mainly on the eyes. I got a cheap pair of faux lashes from Landmark and they were honestly super frustrating to work with. Took a lot of reapplying and adjusting on my part but oh well, I really can't complain can I? I paid Php30 for those! Dirt cheap!

Maquillage Professionnel Day 6: The Smoky Eye

Today we learned about the highly esteemed Smoky Eye! I was honestly really challenged because we had to do a "bright" smoky eye (meaning we had to pick vibrant colors instead of the usual blacks/browns) and we were only allowed to use ONE eye shadow. Medyo naloka ako!
I originally wanted to do a green toned eye but my model and very dear friend Bea and I decided to try a gorgeous shade of blue instead. I really stepped out of my comfort zone in a major,major way. (Venus Raj would be proud!)
This look was all about BLENDING,BLENDING and more BLENDING! I'm actually quite happy with the way it turned out. I absolutely adore Bea's big beautiful eyes! (That's a lotta B's!)
